Would you like to become a donor in support of the Society?
The Highgate District Agricultural Society has been central to life in Highgate and the surrounding area for over a century; actively engaged in community events - including our annual Country Fair - since 1854. In addition to the Society’s role in promoting, preserving, and celebrating rural life in Ontario, it also plays an important role in maintaining our local park, playground, and baseball facilities which are enjoyed by members of our community throughout the year.
One way that you can support the Society is through a financial donation. We welcome donations of any amount as every penny raised goes towards maintaining the facilities and our community events. It is thanks to the generous support of our community members and local businesses that we are able to continue to provide access to our park, playground, and baseball facilities, as well as host our annual Country Fair.
Donations can be made by completing the Highgate District Agricultural Society Donation form and submitting it, along with a cheque made payable to the Highgate District Agricultural Society, to any Board of Director member. Alternatively, you can submit your donation by mail to our mailing address.
Any donation of $25 or more is eligible for a tax receipt. Tax receipts will be issued no later than January 31st of the following year. We ask that you provide an email address in order to issue the receipt (those without an email address will receive their receipt in the mail).
If you have any donation related questions, you can contact us via our Contacts page, or by email at: [email protected]
